My NewTroy Beginning
started almost a decade ago, but it wasn't till after the birth of my son that I truly got serous and submitted my life to the Lord.    I wanted my children to have a relationship with God.  I knew for that to happen I needed to be an example for them.  It has now been six years since I have made that decision and I have no regrets.   God has met with me and I now have a very personal relationship with Him.  He has been my provider, protector, saviour, and friend.  God has shown Himself real to me, my wife, and my children.
    I am now in the process of learning how to be a better friend to others.  I say all these things because when I came to God in 1993 I was a broken, and fragmented, a defiant young man.  Love, mercy, respect, forgiveness, family, joy, loyalty, were all just words that had no meaning or depth to me;
     If you are looking for a practical way to know God, this would be the church for you.  I can say from experience that our people in our church; truly care about you, and your personal relationship with God the father.  We are all committed here to give you practical ways to make God a living part of your day-to-day life, we want nothing more then for you to find success in life.

My New Beginning

Happened when I was 21 years old. I had been raised going to church every Sunday, but never knowing if it was more than a social club. I decided to read some of the Bible and what I learned challenged my way on thinking. One of the verses I read was 1 Corinthians 6:20 Brick Breaking
you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

 I had assumed that my life was exclusively mine and that I had no obligation to anyone. As I explored what the Bible had to say, I discovered that God was described as holy, loving and completely good. I told Him that if he was like the description in the Bible, that I would give him control of my life. He has been everything I had hoped and more, he is totally trustworthy. The best decision I have ever made was to stop trusting myself to run my life and put Him in the driver’s seat!

And I got to tell people about him while crushing cement
