Beginning started almost a decade ago, but it wasn't till after the birth of my son that I truly got serous and submitted my life to the Lord. I wanted my children to have a relationship with God. I knew for that to happen I needed to be an example for them. It has now been four years since I have made that decision and I have no regrets. God has met with me and I now have a very personal relationship with Him. He has been my provider, protector, saviour, and friend. God has shown Himself real to me, my wife, and my children.

My New Beginning
Happened when I was 21 years old. I had been raised going to church every Sunday, but never knowing if it was more than a social club. I decided to read some of the Bible and what I learned challenged my way on thinking. One of the verses I read was
1 Corinthians 6:20
you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
I had assumed that my life was exclusively mine and that I had no obligation to anyone. As I explored what the Bible had to say, I discovered that God was described as holy, loving and completely good. I told Him that if he was like the description in the Bible, that I would give him control of my life. He has been everything I had hoped and more, he is totally trustworthy. The best decision I have ever made was to stop trusting myself to run my life and put Him in the driver’s seat!
And I got to tell people about him while crushing cement
